Your guests research before their trip and look for the best accommodation available. It's no longer just the price, the proximity to the beach or local attractions that play an important role, but also the opinion of other guests.
A large number of bad reviews can be just as much a factor for exclusion as no reviews at all!
You can also check your pricing policy based on the reviews of your guests. For example, if you always receive extremely good reviews, you might consider a slight price increase.
To make it easier for you to ask your guests for a review, Lodgit Desk has an interface to review systems such as Review Express from TripAdvisor or Customer Alliance. With the latest update 1.14.14 the established rating management system iiQ-Check is also connected to Lodgit Desk via this interface (currently available only in German language).
The lodgit interface automatically sends the email data of your guests to iiQ-Check after check-out. They then automatically send an email request to the guest asking him to rate his stay (e.g. by rating questionnaire) - provided that the guest has agreed to the transfer of his data for this use in advance!
In addition iiQ-Check offers many other functions to simplify the review management: an overview of all evaluations of your establishment at different portals, individual questionnaires for your quality management, post-stay communication, benchmarking with selected competitors and much more.
