Version 2.4.1 of Lodgit Desk hotel software was released today, with an update that mostly concerns our German and Austrian customers. Our software now offers you the ability to connect to a certified Technical Safety Equipment (TSE) as an optional additional module. The TSE, which is required in Germany, communicates with Lodgit Desk for each business transaction, creates signed receipts and saves this data so that it can be evaluated in a later audit by the tax office (e.g. tax audit or cash check). The TSE hardware is connected via the add-on module: "Interface: Kassensicherung (DE: KassenSichV, AT: RKSV)", which can be purchased with your Lodgit Desk Licence for 12,-EUR (net) per month via our webshop.
According to our motto: "Lodgit offers security" you can rely on Lodgit Hotel Software GmbH to provide you with a reliable, legally compliant hotel software that meets the requirements of the GoBD, the DSGVO, the RKSV in Austria and now also the German KassenSichV. As Lodgit Desk now enables the connection to a certified TSE from Epson, all users in Germany are obliged to use it according to the Kassensicherungsverordnung 2020. For users in Austria, the same additional module includes the signature solution according to the cash register security regulation RKSV, which has been mandatory since 2016. Further information about this new module (Article is in German).

Should you require additional set-up assistance via remote maintenance (Teamviewer), further charges may be incurred on a time and material basis. Please make a separate appointment by e-mail and understand that there may be a waiting period, as our support team is unfortunately not able to help all customers with the setup at the same time. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Before installing any Lodgit update you should always make a copy of your database (file name: Lodgit Database.lxdb) and preferably store it on an external storage device.
