Faster start and better performance with the March 2022 update

Lodgit Update 2.7.1

With our first major update in 2022, we have mainly concentrated on improving the general performance of our software. Lodgit Desk’s access to the database and the database server has been optimised decisively, so that Lodgit Desk now starts much quicker when launching.

In addition, we’ve made multiple modest improvements in many features of the software, so that you can work more efficiently and trouble-free:

  • You now have the option to re-submit invoices that have not been correctly fiscalized to a fiscalization process (TSE Customers in Germany only).
  • On invoices, you can now disable the long TSE signature and display only a QR code (Customers in Germany only).
  • Lodgit Desk is now able to export your extra items list in CSV format.
  • When searching for available rental units, cancelled online bookings are now ignored by default in the occupancy schedule.
  • You will now receive a warning if you have not yet closed a cash register.
  • On Windows devices, line spacing is now displayed correctly in combination with page numbers.

Important notes: We urgently ask all users of our online modules (channel manager, online booking system) to perform this update to the new version 2.7.1. From April 4, 2022, a synchronisation of the online modules with an older version of Lodgit Desk will NO LONGER BE POSSIBLE. The reason for this are internal preparations for an extensive update of our online systems and the synchronisation process. We thank you for your understanding.
